Job summary

MSD Animal Health Nederland is seeking an Executive Director, Operations for the Boxmeer site in The Netherlands. You will own end-to-end manufacturing execution, lead four IPTs and Operations Services, and ensure GMP compliance and ongoing inspection readiness.

You will drive operational excellence, manage site production plans, and build a high-performing leadership team across diverse manufacturing operations in a complex, global vaccine and biologics setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing operations, including leadership of large-scale organizations.
• Demonstrated track record of sustained operational performance in complex manufacturing environments, including technology transfer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Manufacturing execution performance (SQDC) across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
• Lead and integrate four IPTs and Operations Services into a cohesive execution system.
• Execute site production plan with rigor, identify constraints, escalate risks and track performance.
• Ensure GMP compliance and inspection readiness; foster Safety First, Quality Always culture.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement to improve productivity, yield and cycle time.
• Build and develop high-performing teams across IPTs and Operations Services.
