Job summary

MSD Netherlands is seeking an Executive Director, Operations for the Boxmeer site, responsible for end-to-end manufacturing execution across four IPTs and Operations Services. You will drive SQDC performance, safety, quality, and cost while leading a large, diverse team in a GMP environment.

The role requires 15+ years in pharma/biotech manufacturing, strong Lean and operational excellence experience, and a track record of strategic leadership in an international matrix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years in pharma/biotech manufacturing operations with leadership of large-scale teams.
• Proven track record of sustained operational performance in complex manufacturing environments, incl. tech transfer.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Manufacturing execution performance (SQDC) across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.
• Lead four IPTs and Operations Services to form a cohesive execution system.
• Execute the site production plan with rigor, identify constraints, and track performance.
• Ensure GMP compliance and inspection readiness while embedding Safety First, Quality Always.
