Job summary

The Social Hub is seeking a Head of Finance & HR Applications in Amsterdam to lead a small team and modernize core back-office systems across Finance, HR, and Legal. You will oversee tool selection, rollout, and continuous improvement while partnering with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in back-office optimization, a Master’s in Economics or Accounting, and hands-on experience with NetSuite, Tagetik, Coupa, and Personio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing back-office systems and optimizing processes.
• Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Tagetik, Coupa, Personio, Pinpoint.
• Proven ability to lead small high-performing teams.
• Strong vendor management from selection to contracts.
• Fluent English and collaborative communication style.

Responsibilities

• Shape and refine our software landscape across Finance, HR, and Legal.
• Lead rollout and upkeep of back-office tools with partners.
• Streamline workflows to reduce manual tasks, incl. payroll.
• Coach a team of three and manage external providers.
• Create training sessions to maximize platform value.
• Build dashboards and reporting for Finance and HR.
• Negotiate vendor terms to keep costs efficient.
