Job summary

Ayvens is seeking a Head of Engineering Customer Onboarding to lead engineers across departments and geographies, including offshore locations. You will drive productivity, delivery, budget, code quality, and engineering culture while aligning with the long-term strategy and collaborating with product, architecture, and finance teams.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering Commerce & Partnerships and supports a hybrid work model with offices in Amsterdam or Paris.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant work experience
• 7+ years in a leadership role
• Experience managing suppliers and outsourced contracts
• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience in e-Commerce and Partnership systems production management
• Ability to lead meetings and user groups workshops
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Actively coaching and mentoring your teams
• Delivering products, projects & evolutions respecting delay, budget and scope
• Support level 1 and 2 escalations and vendor follow-up
• Implement version upgrades without regressions
• Guarantee high availability of the systems
• Process improvements and KPI tracking
• Coordinate with Management, Product team and stakeholders
• Contribute to department roadmaps and budget definition, capacity planning
