Advidi B.V. is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead an engineering organization of about 10–12 engineers across two teams.

You will drive delivery, quality, and AI adoption, collaborating closely with the CTO, product, commercial teams, operations, and other stakeholders to align technical work with business priorities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years in a senior engineering management or Head of Engineering role.
• Experience leading an engineering group of 10+ people and delivering complex projects.
• Strong technical judgment for architecture, design, and planning discussions.
• Hands-on software engineering experience with Python, Kotlin, or similar tech; cloud experience.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. AI adoption mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage an engineering organization of approximately 10-12 people across two teams.
• Directly coach and develop engineers and own delivery, quality, and culture.
• Collaborate with CTO, product, and commercial teams to align tech with business priorities.
• Translate business opportunities into technical direction and execution plans.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions and drive trade-offs.
• Advocate and drive AI transformation, tools, workflows, and AI-enabled product development.
