Job summary

Insify is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one of our product engineering teams in Amsterdam. You will shape how the team ships, runs in production, and how people grow, while collaborating with Staff Engineer, VP Engineering and other managers to define architecture, product discovery and growth.

You will spend time in design reviews, contribution of Claude-enabled work, and performance discussions, balancing hands-on involvement with people leadership to ensure delivery and team

Qualifications

• Managed a team of engineers with hiring, feedback and growth responsibilities.
• Experience designing and running distributed systems and reviewing architectures.
• Proven track record in product discovery and scope cutting with decisions tracked.
• Ownership and impact mindset with willingness to go beyond team boundaries.
• Experience setting a vision for AI adoption and evaluating tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a product engineering team end to end: shipped features, production reliability, hiring and growth.
• Incorporate architecture and product thinking into daily work to scale across countries and products.
• Run product discovery with cross-functional teams; prioritize what to build and say no as needed.
• Shape company-wide engineering practices with peers: ways of working, architecture and technology standards.
• Challenge ideas and contribute proactively, fostering a culture of direct feedback and improvement.
