Zusammenfassung

European Hematology Association (EHA) in The Hague seeks a Head of Education to supervise a team delivering CME/EBPH accredited education and modern formats (podcasts, interactive programs) for hematologists and researchers. You will align with multiple teams, ensure timely, high-quality delivery, and drive educational strategy with sponsors and committees.

The role requires a strong leadership background in medical education, English proficiency, and a proactive approach to AI-enabled learning;

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 8 years in a people management position (at least 3 direct reports) within the medical or education sector.
• Highly proficient in English, and professional medical English
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience or willingness to learn the use of AI within education and its development
• Knowledge of Dutch law for employers
• Experience in medical membership associations or healthcare/pharmaceutical sector
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to communicate strategy to stakeholders
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of applicable regulations for education and/or pharma sponsoring

Aufgaben

• Daily supervision of a team of 7 educational professionals, medical writers, and instructional designers
• Cross-functional collaboration with peers, suppliers and stakeholders
• Ensure up-to-date knowledge on CME programs and formats
• Provide input in hematological medical treatment practices
• Lead education to modern learning experiences, including LMS integration and AI usage
• Drive educational strategy with committees and sponsors
• Evaluate and implement data-driven improvements to content and formats
