Job summary

Soho House Amsterdam is seeking a Host to be among the first contacts for guests and staff, greeting guests, answering calls, and creating reservations for the House Kitchen. You will support the floor team and ensure excellent service from arrival to departure.

The role requires 1-2 years in a similar role, strong English and Dutch communication, OpenTable and MICROS experience, and flexibility to open and close shifts. Competitive compensation is provided with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years experience in a similar role and answering high-volume phone lines professionally and timely
• Problem solving skills and bring conflict resolution
• Reliable, representative, positive and enthusiastic
• OpenTable and MICROS experience
• Basic InDesign knowledge
• Flexible and available to work both opening and closing shifts
• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch

Host - Soho House Amsterdam

At Soho House a Host is one of the first point of contacts for members guests and staff before being seated for their dining experience. As a Host, you are responsible for greeting guests, answering all incoming calls, and creating reservations for the House Kitchen. You will also deliver excellent service from initial greeting and seating members and supporting with the floor team where needed. The Host, has acute organizational and people skills which often in infectious and promotes positive experience from the moment anyone arrives up until their departure.
