Job summary

ChainCraft is seeking a Finance Controller to join during an active scale-up phase in Amsterdam. You report to the Finance Manager and will take over from the interim controller, becoming part of a growing finance team.

You’ll own subsidy management, monthly closings, ERP implementation by year-end 2027, and strengthen financial processes to ensure audit readiness while collaborating with the CFO and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy or related field
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience in financial control, accounting or similar role
• Strong Excel skills and interest in systems, data and automation
• Experience in a production environment or with manufacturing audits
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both reading and writing

Responsibilities

• Subsidy management: track subsidies, monitor time registration and expenses against budgets
• Close and report monthly, quarterly and annual closings; coordinate with external accountants
• ERP implementation: help set up finance processes in the new ERP by end of 2027
• Strengthen financial processes and controls to become audit ready
• Drive process improvements and automate recurring tasks and workflows
