Ace & Tate seeks a Financial Controller in Amsterdam to lead the finance function through a transformation phase. You will redesign processes, optimize the ERP (Odoo), and embed finance across the business while owning the close and statutory reporting.

The role demands a Dutch RA qualification and 5+ years in financial reporting, with a strong tech mindset and comfort with automation, Excel, and Odoo. Fluent English and coaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

Dutch RA qualified or close to completion.
5+ years in financial reporting or accounting, preferably with Dutch GAAP exposure; Big 4 background a plus.
Strong technical foundation: accounting, tax, internal controls, financial processes.
A genuine appetite for building, not maintaining; unfinished processes as opportunities.
Comfort with Odoo and consolidation tools; curiosity about systems.

Responsibilities

Redesign how finance works: close, controls, reporting.
Make the ERP earn its keep: streamline, automate, integrate with Odoo.
Partner with Business Control to embed finance in the business and support decisions.
Own the close and statutory reporting: monthly/year-end close, audits in European markets.
Tackle the technical stuff: transfer pricing, intercompany, asset impairment, controls.
Bring the team up: coach and develop junior colleagues.
