Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark is seeking an inspiring Groups & Events Manager to lead and expand our events team, driving commercial growth while delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will collaborate with the Regional Sales team to position Floor17 and the rooftop venue as Amsterdam West’s premier social destination, creating innovative concepts and building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

+3 years of leadership experience in hospitality (from the ad).
Solid experience in Event Management and a real passion for it.
Strong commercial and sales skills and ability to translate ideas into events.
Ownership mindset; ability to partner with teams and clients.
Strategic decision-making and handling information with care.

Responsibilities

Lead and further develop the Events department and drive commercial growth.
Oversee successful execution of groups and events from enquiry to delivery.
Collaborate with Regional Sales to position Floor17 and the rooftop venue as a top event destination.
Coach and empower the team; professionalize processes and standards.
Create opportunities, build relationships, and convert leads into revenue.
