Job summary

Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark is seeking a Groups & Events Manager to lead the Events department and drive commercial growth in Amsterdam West. You will oversee corporate meetings, dinners, rooftop parties and large-scale celebrations, while building long-term client partnerships and maximizing hotel profitability.

You will coach your team, professionalize processes, and work closely with the Regional Sales team to elevate Floor17 as a premier event destination in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• +3 years leadership experience in hospitality and events.
• Solid experience in Event Management with a passion for the field.
• Strong commercial and sales skills; able to translate ideas into events.
• Owns the end-to-end guest journey from enquiry to delivery.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Independent, proactive and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with Opera Sales & Catering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Groups & Events team and department strategy.
• Oversee successful execution of groups and events and drive revenue.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales to position the hotel and Floor17 as a top venue.
• Theorize and implement new concepts; build long-term client partnerships.
• Manage guest journeys from enquiry to final evaluation with excellence.
