Job summary

Philips is seeking a Category Manager IT - Software & Cloud to shape procurement strategy for software and cloud, influence senior leaders, and guide cross-functional teams through complex transformations. • Master’s degree or equivalent with focus on procurement or supply chain.
• 10+ years of procurement IT experience in large, international organizations.
• Ability to create and deliver category strategy for a global spend area.
• Deep software and cloud procurement/category expertise.
• Strong record in complex negotiations and supplier relationships.
• Experience influencing Enterprise IT/CIO stakeholders at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement breakthrough category strategies and policies.
• Define procurement goals considering market dynamics and stakeholder needs.
• Identify suppliers and assess capability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate contracts with favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute supply base change projects.
• Plan negotiation roadmaps and manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Drive supplier selection, contracting, and risk management with governance.
