Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in VAT compliance, ideally in multinational settings across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
• Proficient in VAT reporting tools; experience with SQL, Alteryx, and RPA to support data workflows.
• Experience managing VAT audits and responding to tax authorities.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to design and implement process improvements.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative team player.
• Preferred: CTA or other professional tax qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file VAT returns for multiple countries within Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
• Review data from multiple ERPs (>200K transactions per month) for VAT compliance.
• Identify and implement VAT process improvements using SQL, Alteryx, and RPA.
• Manage audits and responses to tax authorities with organized documentation.
• Provide VAT guidance to cross-functional teams and support ERP implementations.
