Job summary

Eltek is seeking a Senior Accountant – EMEA VAT Specialist responsible for managing VAT compliance and reporting across multiple jurisdictions in EMEA. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with local VAT regulations, guiding cross-border transactions, and enhancing process efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with over 5 years of VAT experience in multinational settings. Strong knowledge of EMEA VAT regimes and experience with ERP systems like SAP are essential. This position is crucial in minimizing VAT risk and optimizing compliance.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in VAT / indirect tax within multinational environments.
• Strong exposure to EMEA VAT regimes and local country rules.
• Ability to manage multiple jurisdictions and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit periodic VAT returns across EMEA countries.
• Ensure accuracy of VAT reporting and manage timely payments.
