Job summary

Dyson in Amsterdam is seeking a Lead VAT Accountant to join our EMEA VAT team, supporting the Senior VAT Manager for EMEA and overseeing VAT compliance across the region. You will ensure timely filings and provide VAT advisory support to the business.

You will work with external advisors, analyse SAP data for accurate reporting, review filings, and manage payment workflows. A strong VAT track record in a large organisation and SAP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of VAT experience in a large organisation.
• Experience with VAT in European jurisdictions is required.
• Experience with SAP and accounting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly VAT filings across multiple European entities and territories.
• Extract data from SAP ERP, analyze for accurate filings.
• Review and approve filings prepared by external advisors.
• Initiate VAT payment requests by deadlines.
• Maintain VAT controls, including cash tax management and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with advisors and business teams to resolve VAT queries.
• Drive process improvements for better VAT reporting.
