Job summary

Unilever in Rotterdam invites talented students to join a 5-6 month Supply Chain Internship. You'll work with Planning & Operations teams to support forecasting, inventory management and service levels across a global FMCG supply chain.

You'll gain hands-on experience using Excel and Power BI, develop data-driven insights, and collaborate with multiple functions while contributing to operational excellence. On-site 2-3 days per week, with a monthly internship allowance.

Qualifications

• Available for 5-6 months starting February–March 2027 (minimum 32–40 hours per week)
• Currently enrolled in a (HBO) Dutch university, Bachelor's program (3rd or 4th year) or a Master's program
• Available to work on site 2-3 days a week at our Rotterdam Office

Responsibilities

• Analyzing supply chain, planning and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance improvement areas.
• Supporting forecasting, inventory management and supply planning activities to help ensure product availability while balancing cost and service objectives.
• Contributing to projects focused on improving planning accuracy, inventory health, customer service levels and overall supply chain efficiency.
• Developing reports, dashboards and business insights using tools such as Excel, Power BI and planning systems to support data-driven decision-making.
• Monitoring key performance indicators and helping translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Supporting cross-functional initiatives by collaborating with teams across Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Operations, Logistics, Finance and other business functions.
• Assisting with process improvement and transformation projects aimed at simplifying ways of working and driving operational excellence.
• Conducting analyses to identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve sustainability performance and optimize supply chain processes.
