Job summary

JDE Peet’s is looking for a Global Strategic Manager to drive the global Rigids & Glass category. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies, align with regional teams and drive value realization in a spend up to EUR 300m.

You will build robust supplier relationships, benchmark performance, and negotiate key global contracts while ensuring compliance with internal policies. The role requires leadership across functions and a proven ability to thrive in a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience delivering best-in-class category results and cost savings.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across regions and functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and align robust global category sourcing strategies and lead execution.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across regions, functions and business units.
• Measure and benchmark supplier performance to ensure competitive value add.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiate contracts and ensure contract execution.
• Leverage global scale to build productivity pipelines in categories to meet procurement targets.
• Establish and maintain portfolio of strategic agreements and key supplier relationships.
