Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Director for Packaging to lead the sourcing strategy across Aluminium, Flexible, Rigid, Glass, Carton, and Corrugated materials with up to €1bn spend. You will head a team of 5–6 Category Managers and report to the Global VP Strategic Sourcing Direct Materials.

You will shape category strategies, drive savings, manage supplier relationships, and push innovative cost-reduction programs across a global supplier base in a senior leadership capacity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of global procurement experience
• Strong track record in packaging/direct materials
• Proven ability to lead high-performing procurement teams

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and coach a team of sourcing managers across packaging categories
• Define and implement global packaging category strategies
• Identify and deliver total cost of ownership savings and productivity pipelines
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, negotiate, and oversee key agreements
• Drive innovation programs and new technologies to reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and risk management across categories
