Job summary

JDE Peet's is seeking a Global Strategic Sourcing Manager for IT to own sourcing strategy across a €100M IT spend portfolio, delivering best-in-class cost results. You will develop and execute robust strategies, manage global supplier relationships, and negotiate enterprise-level agreements in a complex matrix environment.

The role requires sharp commercial instincts, deep IT category expertise, and the ability to translate technology trends into competitive sourcing outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement experience in IT or technology categories.
• Experience managing global technology suppliers and negotiating enterprise-level agreements.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record delivering cost and cash results in a complex global environment.
• Experience developing and executing category strategies and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of technology supplier business models, licensing structures, and market trends.
• MBA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic IT spend category planning across software, cloud, infrastructure, digital, data, cybersecurity, telecom, and IT services.
• Advise senior IT, Digital, Security, and Finance stakeholders with market insights and negotiation strategies.
• Identify and prioritise total cost of ownership savings opportunities and lead their implementation.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations with global technology suppliers, including enterprise software vendors and cloud providers.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, drive continuous improvement and ensure contract execution and compliance.
• Develop a longer-term productivity pipeline to ensure delivery against procurement targets.
• Oversee risk management activities and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Continuously monitor technology market developments and supplier trends to shape sourcing strategies.
