Job summary

Enza Zaden is seeking a Global Manager Production to lead the global seed production strategy and execution for the Mid-Tech Business Dynamics. You will ensure the right quantity, quality, timing and cost of seed production while aligning with long-term objectives, working with Business Dynamic leadership, Supply Chain, R&D and commercial teams.

You will report to the VP Production and guide a high-performing team through strategic and operational initiatives, ensuring compliance and driving

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Agricultural Engineering, Seed Production, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
• 12+ years of relevant international seed production experience.
• Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams and leading a team.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in handling complex datasets.
• Proven track record in process improvement and project management.
• Solid understanding of financial management and business planning.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of production professionals to achieve business goals.
• Lead supplier performance management in collaboration with the Global Contract Manager.
• Ensure compliance with quality, phytosanitary, IP protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to crop strategic plans and prepare business cases for new production concepts and innovations.
• Lead production topics within the Tactical Seed Supply Team and ensure alignment between strategic and operational teams.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Actively contribute as a member of the Production Management Team to strategy and execution.
