Job summary

Another Star is seeking an experienced safety and security leader to drive global compliance across Health, Safety, Security and Risk Management. You will lead the rollout of the Safety & Security framework, focusing on the US market, mentoring a specialist, and aligning regional practices with corporate standards.

Based in Leiden with hybrid hours, you will collaborate with senior leaders across Operations, Legal, HR, Facility Management and Food & Beverage, adapting to US East Coast hours two

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Security, Risk Management or similar.
• Relevant work experience in H&S, security.
• Willing to work from our office 2-3 days a week.
• Adapt to US East Coast hours approximately 2 days a week.
• Fluent in English.
• Smart thinker, team player, and problem solver.
• Curious researcher with a big ambition.
• Self-motivated and positive influencer.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global Operational Risk & Compliance strategy as SME.
• Improve safety and security processes and SOPs for long-term resilience.
• Lead regional versions of Health & Safety Manuals for US codes.
• Co-lead US safety partners; oversee audits and risk assessments.
• Represent Operations and champion BCM globally.
• Own the CCTV policy and ensure privacy and safety standards.
• Coordinate Insurance Risk Engineering inspections and follow-ups.
• Establish safety processes for new US hotel openings.
• Optimize safety management and log documentation in the compliance system.
• Prepare analytics and strategic reports for senior management.
