Job summary

Action, headquartered in the Netherlands, is seeking an International Health & Safety Specialist to drive the global H&S framework across Stores, Distribution Centres and Offices.

You will translate the international strategy into practical standards, lead cross-country projects, assess risks, and support compliance and continuous improvement, shaping a strong safety culture across Action's network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or related field.
• Substantial H&S experience in international, multi-site org.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 or similar framework.
• Experience leading cross-country H&S projects.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical actions.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation and continuous improvement of international H&S across assigned areas.
• Provide H&S expertise to country teams and lead projects.
• Identify risks and compliance gaps and implement sustainable solutions.
• Conduct compliance reviews and contribute to audit programs.
• Lead investigations into significant incidents and apply root cause analysis.
• Monitor performance and translate insights into priorities.
• Promote safety culture and training needs.
