JDE Peet's in Utrecht is seeking a Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Intern to support external nutrition measures and UPF governance. You will monitor developments, translate findings into input for company databases and guidelines, and collaborate with R&D, regulatory, and marketing teams.
You will gain hands-on experience in scientific and regulatory affairs and nutrition while supporting quality and innovation in product development, starting March 2027 for five months.

Join us as a Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Intern at our international headquarters in Utrecht, starting in March 2027. In this role, you will focus on external nutrition related measures (such as sugar taxes, marketing restrictions or front of pack nutrition labelling), with an emphasis on nutrient related requirements and Ultra Processed Foods (UPF). Your main objective will be to monitor the latest developments and trends in these areas, assess emerging local regulatory requirements, and translate findings into structured input for automated company databases, policies, and guidelines.
You will work closely with different stakeholders within R&D such as product solutions, technology solutions, regulatory, and marketing teams.

Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.
You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
