Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV seeks a dynamic QESH Manager to advance quality, environmental, health and safety across its Son, Echt and Nijmegen sites. You will lead a ~20-strong QESH team, shape strategic objectives, and ensure rigorous compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and IATF 16949 while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a comparable technical manufacturing environment.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams across locations.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and IATF 16949.
  • ISO 14971 and MDR knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with certification processes, audits and continuous improvement programs.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment processes and legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, safeguard and execute the QESH strategy across Son, Echt, and Nijmegen.
  • Lead, coach and develop a ~20 person QESH team.
  • Maintain and improve management systems across multiple sites.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, legal requirements and customer expectations.
  • Lead internal, external and certification audits and follow-up actions.
  • Manage relationships with customers, suppliers, certification bodies and other stakeholders.
  • Own ESH policy and work with ESH Coordinator and Prevention Officers.
  • Analyze performance, risks and trends and report to MD and Management Team.
  • Lead strategic projects and contribute to growth and professionalization.
  • Make QESH a true competitive advantage for the organization and customers.

As QESH Manager, you will report directly to the Managing Director and serve as a member of the Management Team. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving Quality, Environment, Safety & Health policies across our sites in Son, Echt, and Nijmegen.

Leading a team of approximately 20 professionals, both directly and indirectly, within Quality and ESH, you will create the conditions that enable the organization to achieve its quality, safety, health, and environmental objectives. You will be the driving force behind continuous improvement, compliance, and organizational development, translating strategic goals into tangible results.

In this role, you will drive a consistent quality approach across multiple locations while considering different markets, customers, and regulatory requirements. You will have overall responsibility for the quality management systems at our ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified sites in Son and Echt, as well as our IATF 16949 certified site in Nijmegen. As a result, you will play a key role in further professionalizing our management systems and enhancing customer satisfaction, quality performance, and operational excellence.

Your daily responsibilities include

As QESH Manager, you will be responsible for developing, safeguarding, and executing the QESH strategy across our sites in Son, Echt, and Nijmegen. You will ensure that quality, safety, health, and environmental considerations are embedded in daily operations while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities further include:

Developing and implementing the QESH strategy in line with organizational objectives and translating it into KPIs, improvement programs, and annual plans.

Leading, coaching, and developing a team of approximately 20 QESH professionals.

Maintaining and continuously improving management systems across multiple sites.

Ensuring compliance with quality standards, legal requirements, and customer expectations, while safeguarding adherence to ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and other relevant standards.

Initiating, leading, and embedding organization-wide improvement programs focused on quality, compliance, safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Leading the preparation, execution, and follow-up of internal, external, and certification audits.

Managing relationships with customers, suppliers, certification bodies, and other external stakeholders in the areas of quality, safety, and compliance.

Taking ownership of the ESH policy and working closely with the Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator and Prevention Officers to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

Analyzing performance, risks, and trends and reporting findings to the Managing Director and Management Team.

Leading strategic projects within your area of expertise and contributing to the further growth and professionalization of the organization.
