Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. is seeking a Senior Controls Project Engineer to design, program, test and Commission PLC software for world-scale material handling systems.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and travel internationally to deliver reliable automation solutions at customer sites. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics/Electrical Engineering, PLC programming experience (Siemens TIA Portal), and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Design and implement PLC control software for complex material handling systems.
• Translate customer requirements into robust control solutions.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and software engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and program PLC software based on project specs.
• Work with project leaders to deliver high-quality control solutions.
• Perform testing, debugging, and validation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Commission and optimize PLC systems at customer sites worldwide.
• Integrate PLC software into the overall control architecture.
• Support customer acceptance testing and ensure successful delivery.
• Monitor planning, milestones and budgets, address risks proactively.
• Share lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement.
