Job summary

Vanderlande Industries B.V. invites a Senior PLC Engineer to contribute to airport logistics projects from Veghel, NL. You’ll work with Hardware and Controls, create standard tooling, and support global teams with design decisions when custom needs arise.

You will report to the Project Manager Engineering within Airports Engineering, collaborating across Europe and the Middle East, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or Controls Technology.
• This vacancy is intended for senior engineers.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive, hands-on attitude.
• Knowledge of PLC applications with TIA Portal.

Responsibilities

• Own developments and support on-site commissioning and final testing.
• Translate project requirements into a multidisciplinary decomposition for standard tooling.
• Advise project teams and ensure handover to Service with controlled quality.
• Focus on requirements, cost of execution, and serviceability.
