Huisman seeks a Senior Control Systems Field Engineer to install, troubleshoot and optimise PLC/SCADA systems on equipment delivered worldwide. You will work with a skilled team to ensure high uptime and safety, with frequent travel to client sites and overseas installations.

The role requires a technical degree and hands-on PLC programming experience, plus willingness to travel up to 60% of the time on challenging projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience with PLC and SCADA systems in industrial environments.
Relevant technical degree: MBO 4 / Bachelor / Master in a technical field.
Experience with PLC programming and software tools is required.
Willingness to travel and work abroad, including ships, is essential.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain control systems on Huisman equipment for global clients.
Troubleshoot and optimise PLC/SCADA performance in the field.
Collaborate with back-office teams to resolve complex issues.
Provide feedback to engineering to improve products and standards.
Ensure high uptime and safety of installed systems.
Represent Huisman professionally on customer sites and travels.
Support installations on offshore or remote projects as needed.
