Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Finance Manager for Global Pathology & Microbiology based in Hoofddorp, NL, with a hybrid work model. You will lead financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for a global reference laboratory network, partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes capacity planning, cost optimization, and rigorous financial governance, with a focus on building strong teams and delivering strategic insights to drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience with ownership of complex planning cycles.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience with capacity planning, demand forecasting, or workforce planning in regulated operations preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; advanced Excel and PowerPoint; BI tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior finance partner to leadership across Pathology and Microbiology, shaping decisions on investment, capacity, and margin performance.
• Own forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and financial modeling for Global Pathology and Microbiology reference laboratory operations.
• Model capacity levers, including hiring, contract and locum coverage, case routing, digital pathology, and workflow automation.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reporting for revenue, gross margin, capital, and operating expenses; deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Lead governance, controls, and process automation in planning and reporting.
