Job summary

IDEXX Operations Finance seeks a Senior Financial Analyst (Supply Chain) to partner with Global Procurement, owning the financial foundation of direct materials and shaping sourcing strategy and margins.

The role focuses on cost setting, reporting, variance analysis, and financial planning, with a hybrid work model across Westbrook, ME or Hoofddorp, NL and a strong emphasis on insightful decision support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA/CPA/CMA preferred.
• Proven finance business partner with influence on business decisions.
• Ability to build discounted cash flow and scenario analyses.
• Experience building financial models for cost, capital, and make-versus-buy decisions.
• Data-driven with the ability to manipulate large data for operational metrics and decision making.
• Analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SAP experience and BI tools preferred.
• Eligible to work in United States or Netherlands without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial close for procurement with emphasis on insights.
• Build and analyze reports in SAP and Excel; prepare journal entries.
• Partner with Global Procurement to influence sourcing and tariff decisions.
• Own Purchase Price Variance end-to-end and identify costing issues.
• Assist with audits and ensure controls align with IDEXX policies.
• Lead the annual Strategic Plan and Budget for Procurement.
• Drive automation to improve reporting and data quality.
