Job summary

DFE Pharma is seeking a Finance professional to join our global Accounting & Reporting team. In this role you prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support IFRS reporting across countries. You will collaborate with internal partners and proactively improve processes.

You bring a Bachelor’s in Business Economics or related field, 1–2 years of experience, and strong English (Dutch/German a plus). Hybrid work and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Accounting or Auditing.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong English language skills, Dutch and/or German are a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn and develop.
• Hands-on mentality and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, COUPA).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Excel / Word / Powerpoint).
• Ability to adapt to change and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations, including active communication and follow-up on actions with internal business partners.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting requirements according to IFRS principles.
• Support the local statutory reporting timely and in accordance with the Local Accounting legislation (Local GAAP) for several countries.
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation.
• Assist in implementation of accounting and finance related projects.
