Job summary

Leiden University College The Hague invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to support Global Public Health within a Liberal Arts and Sciences program. You will develop engaging materials with the course instructor for in-person and online teaching, prepare syllabi and weekly content, and help students link neuroscience, epidemiology and public health.

This part-time 0.2 FTE role runs for one semester, with a monthly gross salary of 3,173–3,785 EUR, and benefits including travel

Qualifications

• Master’s in Neuroscience and background in Global Health required.
• Experience teaching virtually and setting up classroom media.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into accessible learning activities.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course resources and weekly lecture material.
• Help students connect neuroscience, epidemiology, and other core areas of global public health.
• Manage virtual connections to foster inclusive participation.
• Provide administration to ensure students access materials.
• Occasionally lead lectures based on topic and level.
