Job summary

Leiden University College The Hague seeks a Teaching Assistant for Epidemiology to support in-person and online teaching. You will develop engaging learning materials, prepare syllabi and weekly lectures, and help students connect neuroscience, epidemiology, and global public health.

The role involves managing virtual connections, handling administrative tasks to ensure access to materials, and occasionally leading lectures based on topic and readiness.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Neuroscience may be required.
• Background in Global Health is desirable.
• Ability to think in an interdisciplinary manner.
• Excellent organisational, communication, teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging learning materials for in-person and virtual teaching.
• Prepare course resources including syllabi and weekly lecture material.
• Help students connect neuroscience, epidemiology, and global public health.
• Manage virtual connections to foster an inclusive classroom.
• Lead lectures when appropriate.
