Leiden University College The Hague seeks a Teaching Assistant for Epidemiology to support in-person and online teaching. You will develop engaging learning materials, prepare syllabi and weekly lectures, and help students connect neuroscience, epidemiology, and global public health.
The role involves managing virtual connections, handling administrative tasks to ensure access to materials, and occasionally leading lectures based on topic and readiness.
Teaching Assistant for Epidemiology
The TA will work closely with the course instructor to develop engaging, interactive learning materials for in‑person and virtual teaching. Responsibilities include preparing course resources which include syllabi and weekly lecture material, helping students connect neuroscience, epidemiology, and other core areas of global public health. The TA will also manage virtual connections to foster an inclusive and participatory classroom. Some administration to ensure students have access to materials will also be required. At times, the TA can lead lectures based on topic and level of comfort.
