Job summary

Sioux in the Netherlands seeks a Global Business Development Director to drive growth in the semiconductor equipment market. You will leverage our engineering teams across Europe and Asia to expand our global footprint.

You will build strategic relationships with OEMs, win long-cycle opportunities, and translate market needs into actionable commercial plans while traveling internationally.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business development or commercial leadership within semiconductor or a closely related high-tech market.
• Strong understanding of the semiconductor equipment market and its OEMs and supplier landscape.
• Established network within European and Asian semiconductor industry.
• Proven track record in winning new customers and developing complex, long-cycle business.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing commercial professionals.
• Enough technical understanding to discuss complex engineering propositions with customers and technical teams.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at C-level as well as with technical stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate independently.
• Professional proficiency in English and willingness to travel internationally.
• A technical degree is an advantage, but market knowledge, technical understanding and commercial impact are more important.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business within the global semiconductor equipment market.
• Open doors and build strategic relationships with OEMs.
• Grow Sioux's customer base beyond existing key accounts.
• Build and manage opportunities from first contact through proposal and commercial agreement.
• Connect customer needs with Sioux's engineering expertise and capabilities in Europe and Asia.
• Lead and support the commercial team within Semiconductor.
• Work closely with our commercial teams, technical experts and Sioux leadership across Europe and Asia.
• Translate market developments and customer needs into clear commercial priorities.
• Travel regularly internationally.
