Job summary

APM Terminals, headquartered in The Hague, seeks an Investment Manager to join the Investments team. The role focuses on growth opportunities across global terminals, including expansions, tenders, and strategic portfolio initiatives.

You will engage with senior executives and external stakeholders, lead complex projects, and contribute to long-term value creation while traveling internationally as required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy, M&A, corporate development, or business development roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for navigating commercial, operational, and legal complexities.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop investment opportunities and strategic growth projects.
• Assess investment feasibility and commercial attractiveness; provide recommendations to senior management.
• Lead or support complex infrastructure, concession, M&A, and corporate development projects from concept to execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional project planning across commercial, engineering, operations, legal, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare investment proposals, valuation perspectives, negotiation positions, and stakeholder materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, investors, partners, customers, and other external stakeholders.
• Develop market strategies, manage opportunity pipelines, and provide industry/competitive analysis to support growth objectives.
