Job summary

Suitsupply’s international Finance team at our global headquarters in Amsterdam is seeking a Financial Controller to drive accurate financial reporting, month‑end and year‑end close, and coordination of statutory reporting across jurisdictions.

You will collaborate with finance operations, business stakeholders, and external advisors, identify process improvements, and support sustainability and CSR reporting as the business scales globally.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and IFRS; proficient Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly, quarterly, and yearly close processes including fixed assets, receivables, accruals, tax accounts, revenue, COGS, and lease accounting under IFRS.
• Perform analytical reviews of P&L and balance sheet accounts; investigate variances.
• Prepare statutory financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax specialists, and advisors.
• Ensure tax compliance including corporate income tax and VAT.
• Manage monthly consolidation procedures and intercompany eliminations.
• Drive process improvements such as accounting manual updates and master data optimization.
• Support the further professionalization of the Financial Control function.
• Act as sparring partner for management, finance team, operational departments, and external auditors.
• Contribute to sustainability and CSR reporting initiatives.
