Job summary

APM Terminals Maasvlakte II B.V. is seeking a Contract Strategy & Execution Lead to drive contract governance across global capital projects.

The role focuses on implementing the Contract Management Framework, ensuring rigorous compliance, and supporting project teams with timely, data‑driven contractual insights. Based in The Hague, Netherlands, the role requires strong English communication, 5+ years in contracts management, and experience with FIDIC and EPC contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing contracts across full lifecycle (strategy to close‑out).
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
• Degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, law, or related field.
• Professional qualifications such as MRICS, PMP or equivalent are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Contract Management Framework across projects.
• Promote consistent contract management standards, procedures and governance.
• Monitor contract health checks and governance reviews.
• Track adherence to authorities and delegated approvals.
• Monitor compliance with deliverables, notices and deadlines.
• Maintain portfolio visibility of contractual status across projects.
• Develop contract management reporting and dashboards for governance forums.
• Provide advisory support to project teams on contractual obligations and escalation routes.
