Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam seeks a seasoned Compensation Specialist to lead the annual merit cycle and regional salary reviews within the EPDM region. You will evaluate roles using Korn Ferry Hays methodology and translate global strategy into regional practices, driving pay equity and market benchmarking analyses for HR stakeholders.

The role requires 4–5+ years in compensation, strong Excel skills, and English fluency.

Qualifications

Strong experience in compensation and/or total rewards.
Experience using Korn Ferry Hays job evaluation methodology (or similar job architecture framework).
Experience in salary benchmarking and compensation analyses.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret compensation data and provide actionable recommendations.
4 to 5+ years of prior compensation experience.
FMCG experience preferred but not required.
English language required.
Strong Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

Manage the annual merit cycle across a set of HR teams that you will support.
Manage the annual salary range review process for a group of countries within the EPDM region.
Responsible for job evaluations, using Korn Ferry Hays methodology, to assess bands for your target population.
Translate the global compensation strategy and embed it in the EPDM region.
Conduct pay equity, market competitiveness and salary benchmarking analyses to support your group of HR stakeholders.
Provide compensation analyses and recommendations to HR stakeholders to ensure compensation aligns to our compensation strategy.
Partner with HR stakeholders to advise on compensation, promotions, benchmarking, and pay decisions.
Manage compensation projects to continuously improve our tools and region frameworks.
Develop and maintain EPDM region compensation documentation, toolkits and manager material.
