Job summary

Assurant in Amsterdam is hiring a German-speaking Customer Service Claims Associate to join our European team. You’ll guide customers through the claims process when their mobile device is lost, stolen, or damaged, delivering accurate information across phone, email, and other channels.

You’ll receive a starting salary of €2,550 gross per month plus holiday allowance, a performance bonus, hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 from home), and a comprehensive benefits package including wellbeing

Qualifications

• Fluent German language skills (written and spoken).
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• A genuine desire to help customers.
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills and confidence using multiple systems.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to German speaking customers via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Support customers with questions relating to their insurance cover, claims, and connected devices.
• Guide customers through processes and provide clear, accurate information.
• Investigate claim information and make fair, evidence-based claim decisions.
• Accurately maintain customer records and case information across multiple systems.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience.
