Assurant, Inc. is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist (Dutch Speaker) in Amsterdam with a hybrid schedule (3 days home, 2 days in office). You will handle claims, support the Dutch Claims team, manage escalations, and help train new staff while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent Dutch speaker with good English communication skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening abilities.
• Good computer skills including data entry and website navigation.
• Experience supporting team performance, monitoring quality and guiding colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assess and resolve insurance claims.
• Support administrative activities and email management.
• Assist with planning the team’s work schedule.
• Serve as subject matter expert for complex claims and policy interpretation.
• Own escalated complaints, fraud investigations and complex cases.
• Conduct quality reviews and provide guidance to colleagues.
• Assist onboarding and training of new starters.
• Collaborate with Team Lead to maintain service levels and drive improvements.
