Job summary

EY in Amsterdam seeks a Manager Global Business Services: Continuous Improvement to lead CI engagements for clients in the consumer product, pharma and specialty chemical sectors. You’ll shape practical recommendations and help clients build continuous improvement capabilities, governance, and value delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
• At least 5+ years of experience in consulting, advisory, continuous improvement, operational excellence, process transformation.
• Strong understanding of GBS models, end-to-end processes and transformation delivery.
• Fluent written and spoken English; proficiency in Dutch is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams within client GBS CI engagements, managing scope, deliverables, timelines and quality.
• Advise clients on CI operating models, methods, tools, governance routines and performance management.
• Assess CI capability to identify improvement opportunities and shape value-led recommendations.
• Prioritize initiatives and translate opportunities into delivery plans with stakeholders.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, value stream mapping and IPA to diagnose issues and design scalable solutions.
• Develop client-ready materials, roadmaps, business cases, benefits tracking and executive recommendations.
• Facilitate client workshops and cross-functional sessions to align on priorities and future-state processes.
• Identify automation opportunities leveraging process mining, workflows, RPA, analytics and AI; drive improvement via ERP usage.
• Support implementation, adoption and capability building for sustaining improvements.
