Job summary

Albert Heijn is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer (React, DevOps) to build and run applications supporting store operations across 1,200+ Albert Heijn stores. You will work at the intersection of engineering, retail execution, and business to enable reliability and impact at scale.

You will design and build applications that support critical processes, focusing on performance, reliability, and maintainability while collaborating with product, UX, and other engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with React, NextJS, TypeScript and REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Strong English communication and security-focused coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate frontend web/mobile applications.
• Work with React/NextJS and monorepo architecture.
• Own applications end-to-end from design to production support and DevOps.
• Collaborate with product, UX, store operations, and other engineers.
