Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park in Amsterdam Oost opened in 2022 and is our first 5-star hotel. The hotel is located in the green Oosterpark in Amsterdam Oost. The hotel has already won several awards and achieved a #1 ranking on TripAdvisor, leaving behind more than 400 other hotels in the Dutch capital.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years front office experience in hospitality.
• Experience in luxury or upscale hotels is preferred.
• Knowledge of Amsterdam and its surroundings is advantageous.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in/check-out efficiently.
• Provide exceptional front desk service in a five-star environment.
• Assist guests with requests while maintaining luxury standards.
• Represent Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park professionally.

As a front office host, you are inseparable from the guest's experience and make sure that every moment with the guest is unforgettable. The contact you have with guests is friendly and warm, but never too businesslike or jovial.

At Pillows Hotels, check-in is handled in a personal way. Our guests are welcomed in the warm ambiance of the living room, where they can first enjoy a drink. This is where the check-in is discussed in peace and quiet, making them feel right at home.

Who are you?

• You have a passion for hospitality and that goes without saying
• You are organised and organise matters in detail
• You have at least 1-2 years' experience within the front office department
• You have knowledge of Amsterdam and its surroundings
• You speak Dutch and English, multiple languages would be an advantage
• You are able to work during the day, evenings and weekends
