Job summary

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park in Amsterdam is seeking a Front Office Host to deliver exceptional service and create memorable guest experiences at the welcoming front desk.

You will engage with guests in Dutch and English, coordinate with teams across the property, and work day, evening, and weekend shifts to uphold our luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within the front office department.
• Knowledge about Amsterdam and its surroundings.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional front desk service to guests.
• Assist guests with check-in/out and concierge requests.
• Maintain accuracy and guest satisfaction during stay.

About The Vacancy

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park opened in November 2022 and is our first 5-star hotel. The hotel is located in the green Oosterpark in Amsterdam East. The hotel has already won several awards and achieved a #1 ranking on TripAdvisor within a year and 3 months of opening, leaving behind more than 400 other hotels in the Dutch capital. The ambitions for this hotel are high! Who are you?

• You have a passion for hospitality and it’s natural
• You are organized and take care of things in detail
• You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the front office department
• You have knowledge about Amsterdam and its surroundings
• You speak Dutch and English, multiple languages are a plus
• You are able to work during the day, evening and weekend
