Job summary

Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to grow our B2B revenue across Pillows Maurits at the Park and associated venues. You will actively manage key accounts, lead sales initiatives, and maintain strong relationships with the local business community.

As a hands-on manager, you will drive, qualify, and follow up on leads, coordinate promotional activities, and ensure CRM data is current for reporting and strategy alignment.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the hotel’s sales plan in the managed market segments.
• Manage key accounts and prospects; identify opportunities across Pillows Maurits at the Park and restaurants.
• Increase revenue through outside sales calls, telemarketing, and in-house sales activities; target minimum 5 calls per week.
• Quote and negotiate prices with clients and draw up contracts to close transactions.
• Update CRM daily; report on accounts, markets, and activities; attend commercial meetings.

For our 5-starhotel Pillows Maurits at the Park we’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team. Read below for the job description and expectations that we have for this position.

Main purpose of the position:

• Developing and maintaining an account base within the B2B market by application of professional skills.
• Responsible for generating revenue and new business opportunities for Pillows Maurits at the Park and associated restaurants VanOost, Spring Café & Brasserie and the Shaffy Restobar.
• Responsible to achieve professional rapport within the local business community.
• “Hands on” manager, actively involved in securing, qualifying, and following up on leads to book specific business.
• To assist the guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally and lead by example.

What are you going to do as a Sales Manager?

• Assists with development of the hotel’s sales plan based on the hotel’s position and strengths within managed market segment.
• Analyses the competition’s market position, strengths & weaknesses for managed market segment and implements directs sales activities
• Manages key accounts, key prospects and identifies key suspects in the managed market segments.
• Is familiar with all ‘business’ in the market in the managed market segments, where that ‘business’ stays and why.
• Identifies and maintains constant communication with the hotel’s key accounts in the managed market segments.
• Actively increases revenue through outside sales calls, telemarketing, in-house sales calls etc. Obtaining a minimum of 5 sales calls per week.
• Organises sales promotional activities (blitzes, shows, trips, telemarketing etc) in line with budget, hotel’s demands and within managed market segments.
• Manages projects under the direction of the Director of Sales.
• Carries out focused and innovate promotional activity e.g., fam trips, educational site inspections, mailings, and incentives.
• Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with clients on all levels, and draw up contracts to close the transaction.
• Reports on managed accounts, markets, and activities.
• Updates CRM daily and accurately.
• Attends and actively participates in commercial meetings.
• After sales activities.
• Familiar with and performs according to the hotels and departments vision and mission statement.
• Always represent Pillows Maurits at the Park in appropriate manner, following company guidelines, hygiene standards and dress code.

Meetings to attend

• Attend monthly commercial meeting.
• Attend all staff meeting (twice a year)
• Attend bi‑weekly meeting to report on performance.
• Deliverables on a weekly basis.

Monthly duties

• Achieving monthly rooms and banquet budgets.
• Achieving monthly sales calls goals.

Who are you?
