Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Office Intern for NH Amsterdam Leidseplein. You will gain hands-on experience in a key hotel department while developing guest service, communication, and hospitality skills.

You’ll learn day-to-day front desk operations, support check-ins/outs, handle guest inquiries, and contribute to a high standard of guest satisfaction in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or related field.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for guest service.
• Willingness to learn, proactive, and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs.
• Support guests during their stay with information about hotel and local area.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally.
• Assist with Front Office administration and daily tasks.
• Respond to online reviews and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Support cash handling and end-of-shift procedures.
• Manage Lost & Found requests and follow up with guests.
• Assist with night audit processes and reporting tasks.
• Identify upselling opportunities to enhance guest experience.
