Job summary

Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam is offering a Front Office Intern opportunity starting September 2026 for 5 or 6 months, based in Amsterdam. You will be the face of the hotel, gaining hands‑on experience across Front Office operations in a dynamic international environment.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in hospitality studies, possess strong English communication, and are proactive and guest‑focused. Previous hospitality experience is a plus; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality or related study program.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop.
• Guest‑focused mindset with a positive and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests, contributing to a positive team environment and consistent service delivery.
• Support the guest journey, including check‑ins, check‑outs, and handling guest requests across phone, written, and face‑to‑face communication.
• Assist with reservations, payments, and Front Office administrative tasks.
• Deliver excellent guest service and respond professionally to guest enquiries.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming Front Office environment in line with brand standards.
• Collaborate with departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Learn and apply hotel procedures, standards, and systems to support operational excellence.
