Front Office Host(ess)

You are the face of the hotel, creating the first and last impression for our guests. You deliver warm, attentive service while ensuring smooth daily Front Office operations. From check-ins to guest requests, you play a key role in delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience. You will also be required to work night shifts, ensuring continuity of service and supporting the safety and security of the hotel during overnight hours.

The position is offered on a 0-hour contract, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility in their working schedule.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience
• Handle guest requests and provide personalised service throughout their stay
• Manage reservations, billing, and Front Office administration accurately
• Flexible to work night shifts, ensuring a calm and secure environment overnight
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face communication
• Maintain professional communication with guests and colleagues
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards, procedures, and safety regulations

Essential Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including night shifts
• Guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure

• Eligible to work in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience in Front Office or hospitality roles
• Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS)
• Flexible to work night shifts
• Dutch or additional language skills are an advantage
• Knowledge of the Amsterdam area or willingness to learn
