Job summary

Amber is building and managing a carrier and forwarder network to support the Freight module. You will negotiate coverage, onboard partners, and ensure live rates and tracking stay reliable as volumes grow across lanes.

The role focuses on sourcing and managing partnerships, owning commercial terms and SLAs, collaborating with engineering on integrations, and representing Amber at ports and industry events to expand influence.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in freight forwarding, carrier management, or logistics procurement.
• Working knowledge of ocean and air freight commercial structures.
• Experience negotiating and managing partner SLAs.
• Data-driven approach to lane performance and cost.
• Fluent English; Dutch or German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and manage forwarder and carrier partnerships across key lanes.
• Own commercial terms, SLAs, and escalation paths with logistics partners.
• Work with engineering on rate, booking, and tracking integrations.
• Monitor lane performance and rebalance the network as volumes grow.
• Represent Amber in the logistics ecosystem, from ports to industry events.
